I've never tried it.

I think it's more to keep your drain from clogging, rather than to unclog it.

I guess it kinda works like sandpaper.

I've got a shower that starts to drain slow every now and then and the vinegar and baking soda definitely works better than the products at the store, for a lot cheaper.

I had a household tips thread a while back. But i think one poster derailed it.
I remember they didnt like me saying hydrogen peroxide was dangerous..
and that we could use bodywash to clean the bath instead of bleach. Which can gas you.
