CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I want to make a character that has been with the Church for 76 years and he's still as strong as he used to when he was 18. I do want to point out that he's going to be laden with all sorts of weapons that can destroy vampires.

hey BigC, there aren't actually weapons that can kill vampires...everything I think can, as long as it pierces the heart of head. Guns, swords, sticks, wooden steaks, heck a SPOON IF it could pierce one of those two places.

Actually, severence or destruction of the head is required to kill it. Piercing the heart paralyzes it, but use of a holy weapon kind of cauderizes it and keeps it from regenerating, thus killing the Vampire.
BigC, I'm gonna say no on the character. NO ONE is that strong after 76 years of service to anything without being super genetically altered. I think one character's enough for now; just play him well. If you want another, keep working at it, because that one isn't going to pass, I'm afraid. Sorry man.
