Hi,I am Shawna and been a Christian since 2011.It was after I was sexually assaulted and raped while I was in the Marines.Good thing was the 5 guys in the same unit I was in with that did this to me were arrested,charged and convicted of sexual assaulting and raping me.Another survivor introduced it to me going to the same church she goes to and has been a good help in my recovery which I was diagnosed with PTSD.Still in the recovery process with support from family and friends.I was honorably discharged and the 5 guys that did it to me recieved a dishonorable discharge.I am also a step mom of 3 married to a great husband.Proud of my 14 years in the Marines still.

I am sorry for what you went through…. I have seen the destruction that sexual assault can bring …but more importantly I have seen the miraculous healing that the hand God has had on victims.
Thank God you are a believer, a survivor, and a Marine. May the grace of God be with you always …you are His best!

I am so sorry this happened to you ShawnaB. I cannot pretend to know how you feel or how you came through this. Wow.
From my childhood I am aware of sexual abuse, tho not to the extent you experienced it. So so sorry. Praying for you and your complete recovery.
Psalms 23 says "He restoreth my soul." I have stood on this many times down through difficult years. He does restore our souls. Bless His name.
