hey im new to this forum here. used to be on a pro ana and mia site. Not sure if I technically qualify as having full blown ed. It is in my past I was mia with ana tendencies for # years, quit then gain a whole ton of weight. I have almost reached the halfway of my goal now.

I came on here, because I am tired of this, I want somone to know, face to face, but am too scared to give it up.

anyways that is a bit of my bac#round, hope to meet you all...

Hey welcome.

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with anorexia and bulimia, but congradulations on reaching halfway of your goal! That is something to be very proud of!

Another thing to be proud of is reaching out. I know how scary it is. I've struggled with eating disorder stuff (binge eating, then bulimia) for about ## years and it is so vulnerable to tell other people and share that part of yourself. I hope you feel comfortable enough here to share more with us - everyone here is SO wonderful and welcoming.

ANYtime you need to talk or vent you can PM me, or if you just need help getting around the site. I know it's big and scary at first.

One last thing - I know it's scary to give up something - your eating disorder - that has made you feel safe for so long. But God wants us to have TOTAL FREEDOM in Christ. The blood of the lamb has set us free from bondage to sin. Jesus has already won the victory over your eating disorder! Just give it to God.

I am not sure what is going to be triggering here, I used to have a journal on the pro-ed site...

I just started in with the diet pills again....I am so tired, I just dont want to care anymore, all I see is a fat cow in the mirror and it makes me gag everytime I look at myself.

well this is depressing im just going to quit before everyone thinks im a whiner.

Hey Hun, welcome to Christian Forums . I don't think you're a whiner and I don't know how hard your journey's been so far, but I know that anybody who wants to move towards recovering is my hero. You said you're not sure you're ready to give it up yet...but what are the things to be gained by hurting yourself? You are worth so much more than you might be giving yourself credit for. I honestly think looking into finding someone in real life to talk to would be an awesome idea!
