  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself to all here.:wave:I have been a christian for many years,but have been away for awhile.Even though I was away from a church,I always had God in my heart.And now believe he is doing some new things in me.Some of the things are hard for me to accept right now,but,through his love and grace he will show me the way.All I have to do is trust in him.I praise him in the mist of all things and give him the glory.I am happy to be here.

Well, whether or not you attend church is unimportant, what does matter is you faith in God and belief is Jesus. I have hated church since I was forced to attend as a child and I also have not trusted organized religion since I learned of the Protestant Reformation. I also believe that ALL religious research should me conducted by oneself and assistance should be used only when necesarry. Sorry my post is so long. Welcome!
