We have a number of forum areas here, and as an atheist, you would be welcome to participate in many of them. There is generally a Statement of Purpose attached as a sticky in each forum area that outlines the rules.
Most areas are set up the way they are for a reason, but lest we seem too unwelcoming, I can say that in TAW (The Ancient Way) which is actually supposed to be a forum only for Orthodox Christians, we do allow visitors to pop in and ask questions or talk. I can't speak for how rigid other areas may or may not be (I think many do require adherence to the rule) - just letting you know up front so that it doesn't cause you any problems. Please let us know if we can help in any way - we are always glad to help you find discussion areas you might be looking for.
