Stormy, i agree completely. We should treat people lovingly. But please remember that Jesus even got angry. He was angry with the money changers in the temple and what was going on there. He treated them lovingly, but also meant business. Tough love! He didnt disaprove of them, it was what they were doing. Same as here. I love everyone here, we are all children of Christ, and in that, i love everyone here as my brother and sister. But, if someone is stating untruths, it is our or should i say, my obligation to correct them lovingly. It may come off as firm or judgemental, but it is meant from the heart.

Now, as regards to treating people kindly, like stated above, i do and i agree with that. but as mentioned above, you stated why not treat people in our faith the same way. I would, but i expect more out of them. they should know the truths of the faith. and if they go off spatting untruths against the faith, that is where the tough love comes in. :)

I won't tell you how to act, but when you do you should be certain it is because it is an untruth and not just that it disagrees with what you have come to believe. It is easy to confuse the two.

By the same token, remember that while you may have the freedom to cut someone you do not have the right to determine how they may bleed.

Fair enough Happy..... I haven't mastered the regular expression of love yet, so I will leave the tough love to those who can.....

You have a point about those who are in the faith, however we all grow and learn...

Before I reject what you say as untrue, I think I owe it to you to at least investigate it first... but that's just me....

Where did I post our private communications? That is against the rules. I simply responded to what you posted. I think we have a much bigger problem in evidence here.

Ok Everyone, Listen Up!!! Attention Please, I Have An Announcement To Make. I Officially Put My Foot In My Mouth.

I Want To Publically Apologize To Statrei...i Have Accused Him Of Something He Did Not Do. I For That, I Am Truely Sorry. Please Accept My Apology.

I Will Try Harder In The Future To Make Sure I Know The Facts Before I Open My Mouth.

I Got Confused And Said Statrei Posted A Private Pm And He Didnt. I Had A Blonde Moment And Forgot I Just Posted Something While I Was Pm'ing Statrei And I Got The Two Posts Confused. And I Accused Him Of Posting The PM When He Didn't.

I Just Wanted To Make That Clear. So Sorry Statrei!

Jonathan comes over to them both an "smacks their heads together! NOW play nice! The police show up at Jon's house and arrest him for battery. The court room is full of people yelling " hang ' em" Jonathan just says MEH i had a good life. The END. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ we need to set an example of "LOVE" I love all people and they think im some kind of fruitcake. I said i gave a wino $2.00 in the park some money, well spent i say. We need to humble ourselves He is watching and he don't come every year bearing gifts. He is our gift AMEN and GOD bless. Rant Off ( Jonathan takes meds and hits the hay) WheW

I started a thread with this quote and it is still appropriate IMO:

Stormy--you keep saying "our church"--which church might that be?? Because I don't think that you belong to the same church that most of us do. What is the name of your church??

I keep scrolling back to view the dates and times on the recent posts in this thread because something is not making sense to me. I see an old argument pop up regarding "two members" and "closing the forum down" and I had thought that posters had moved along in that respect. Why are we backtracking?

Hi Honeydew--well--I 'm sorry if you can't see "it". Perhaps someday you may. But there are a few in here that absolutely REJECT ALL of our Adventist beliefs and yet they still insist that they are Seventh-Day Adventists. It's very annoying to continually have to put up with their nonsense. I DO try to keep quiet about it--but sometimes it's gets on my last nerve.

Honor,
The seventh day adventist church of course... or do you want the name of the church where my membership is? I suppose you want the name of my pastor? His name is John Nixon.... ever heard of him? Is there a problem?

Oh great. My pastor is Dan Linrud. He grew up in a sin-filled life. We appreciate him so much. We started with 30 members and now have over 200 members. All the glory to GOD. Humble thyself in the sight of the LORD. God Bless you people in Jesus name i Pray.

You know that the few in here have absolutely rejected all of our adventist beliefs how? Did you ask them? Nonsense in what sense? What is it about "their nonsense" that gets on your last nerve?

ALL men are not saved. ALL men must make a choice whether they will accept the gift or not. ALL men must make the choice to whether or not to pick up their cross and follow Him.

Jesus died for ALL men, but not ALL men recognize the ultimate sacrifice or even believe it.

Amen Never--after all then--who are the "wicked" that are going to "PERISH"???
