Hey all,
Im from Brisbane (go the Broncos!) and I really got to know God about 8 months ago at a Scripture Union camp called Training Week. My favourite worship song is My Redeemer Lives (Hillsong are the best! ) and I love chatting with my christian friends.

It's great to see a forum for christians and by christians on the net. Im sure that Ill fit right in (I hope!)

I'm in Canberra, a SAHM to two little boys. Don't get me started on football, I won't stop. Afraid that I am a Blues fan and St George/Illawarra or Canberra if they aren't playing each other. Hope to get to know you better.

Yeah, rugby league or union. Can't stand that AFL stuff. Went to a couple of the canberra games in the world cup last year, really enjoyed it. The crowd was great, especially at the wales matches.

I know what you mean re a Christian site for Christians. I felt the same way when I found this site, through a side entrance, and have been encouraging some Cristian brothers and sisters to look it up.

I went to the country footie matches once. Loved having my meat pie and sauce in the car with a hot cuppa and beeping the horn everytime we scored a goal. But T.V. footie?...no way! Of course, our's were Aussie bush matches...

NEWCASTLE!!!! Hey lil_one! I was driving from Ipswich to Victoria once. On the back of the car the kids had dangled a sign. "Watch it. Driver gets lost".
I turned left at a place & drove for miles... & there was the big sign...NEWCASTLE...XX K'S
I turned around & drove to Victoria as if nothing had happened....the kids just smiled at me benignly. Oh yes, I remember Newcastle!!
