My initial thoughts on Peter are that he was able to heal himself when he was near enough to Claire to absorb her powers. Once he was taken away from her, the power diminished or disappeared.

Depending on the severity of the injury, it would take Claire more or less time to heal herself. For example, she could fall and break a bone and fix it immediately, but when she was for all intents and purposes dead from the blow on the head with the quarterback, it took her much much longer -- so long, in fact, that she was cut open at the morgue.

So Peter's superficial injuries, his cuts and bruises and broken bones, healed pretty quickly when he was near Claire. But if he has much more serious internal injuries, they may not have had the time to heal while he was still near her. Maybe he got a "booster shot" so to speak when she came to visit with him in jail, but it wasn't enough time to completely heal himself.

I loved what Eden did with Sylar. Him getting the power of persuasion could have been catastrophic.

The dream Peter had at the end.... my sense is that he got too close to radioactive guy and absorbed his powers and Peter will be the one to cause the bomb in New York!

What's up with the Haitian needing Claire to remember?? Is he not working completely with HRG? And poor Claire... she lost her best friend.

And really the question that I want anwsered the most is when HRG and Eden were walking out of the place where they were holding Sylar... HRG says "we have our marching orders and thats what we need to do" or something like that!!!! Who is he working for??? who is giving him his marching orders!!!!

Yes she did, yes he did and we'll need to wait until next year to find out. Which brings me to my comments...

When I saw the Promos to Heros I figured it would be worth watching because of Hiro's response to when he made the clock click back.

When I saw the first part of the season the show went from fun and interesting, but not appointment TV to, well, appointment TV.

When I saw the last two episodes I knew I was hooked for the duration. The characters which were, and not to be trite, fun and interesting (Hiro and Claire for two) have developed into compelling character studies and the growing question of who the Heros, HRG, Syler/Gabriel, Eden, and SNTHG (Silent, Now Talkative Hatian Guy) really are in this whole tale is reaching intoxicating level.

I'm glad I took a chance on a show that drew me in because a Japanese office drone had an enthusiastic response to making a wall clock take one backwards click.

The reason Claire didn't heal right away was because the stick in her head was blocking something, maybe the "pathway" to her regenerative ability. When the nurse took it out, you saw something happen like it was free to work again.

That's pretty crazy though this new twist, it seems like once he absorbs too many people's power he explodes, since in that dream a lot of the people with powers were there.

If you all remember, that Isaac has had a bad cough before, and so has Nathan. I think that as their powers get stronger or to their full strength, that they kinda get sick. Matt and Ted both have severe headaches, and these 3 have the cough thing going. I also think that Peter's body is just overloaded. You have to remember, he has been exposed to at least 10-14 different powers all at one time frame. (He has been around Claire, Nathan, Matt, and Sylar, who has gosh-who-knows how many powers. As many as the people he has killed so far, which I think is 9?) So, I think that is why he is shorting out, so to speak.

I agree that if he got Eden's power, it would be pretty bad. I'm still unsure about what happened there. Don't know if she is dead or Sylar was shot, because the preview of Jan. 22 showed him laying on the floor staring at nothing..??? We'll just have to wait on that one.

I think the secret he is talking about is acting as if she don't know about her own power, and that he can TALK!! They obviously think he can't, even Eden said that. Besides, what good would it do to wipe her memories? First time she hurts herself, she'll know again...pretty futile if you ask me...LOL.

I don't think Peter's dream has anything to do with him being exposed to too many powers all at once... I think he must come in contact with the "nuclear" man and he is unable to control or understand the power and it overwhelms him causing a nuclear explosion - the one Hiro and Isaac have seen.

Did it appear to anyone else that in Peter's dream everyone was running away from Nathan?

No, I didn't mean that his dream was due to that, just his sickness. His dreams have to do with his empathic ability.
