LOL ... that's the best mud you guys have to sling now?
It took a whole lot more than that to even begin to affect Bill Clinton's poll numbers.
.
Considering that the conservatives here and the GOP have tried to place their stake as the party of morality, one would think that the Christian voting base of the GOP would be appalled by this (as opposed to those liberal heathen who were tolerant of Clinton).
Gay marriage? That's sacrilegious and goes against everything the Bible teaches us. I won't support anyone who is pro-gay marriage.
Adultery? I know the Bible says adultery is bad, but maybe its not really that bad when a GOP candidate does it. That guy still gets my vote.
The truth is now considered mud? You have an interesting take on adultery.LOL ... that's the best mud you guys have to sling now?
So? The republicans are the party of family values, and they did not really vote for Clinton and despised him for his adultery. Now the party of family values dismisses Gingrich's past discretions. Oh, I forgot Gingrich apologized so the republicans have forgiven and forgotten. It took a whole lot more than that to even begin to affect Bill Clinton's poll numbers..
Both parties lay claim to high moral ground ... albeit in slightly different ways.Considering that the conservatives here and the GOP have tried to place their stake as the party of morality ...
Ahh ... so your post here is simply an attempt to suppress Christian support of any GOP candidates. Thanks for clarifying.... one would think that the Christian voting base of the GOP would be appalled by this (as opposed to those liberal heathen who were tolerant of Clinton).
Like I said, both parties lay claim to the high moral ground ...Gay marriage?

I kinda think the people you are appealing to are the "self-righteous". Not sure that's a real large voting block. Good luck with your appeals.

The Bible says many things ... consider this ...John 8:5-11 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.Just like with Democrat politicians, Republican office seekers are real people ... having real faults. Caveat emptor.

I'm pretty sure the stuff coming out about Mr. Cain is being leaked by members of his own Party.I am so tired of seeing one party tear the other party down - this is getting to be the norm for anything now.
I agree! Why can't we look at the situation and make our judgement on is it right or wrong, rather than is it D or R.
Well...this isn't exactly a NEW thing in politics is it? I think what's different about now is a 24/7 news cycle that tries to raise ratings by screaming and beating drums to make situations more alarming then they actually are.On both sides, is it wise to see our leaders doing something wrong and look the other way because they are either D or R. Right and wrong are not parties - they are moral issues. Why can't we just vote out the person who is doing wrong and still work together for the good of all. Everything is swept under the rug to keep the party from looking bad until we now have no moral obligation to our next generation on what we are leaving them, so long as either party wins. How very sad.
I hope one day things will work like this.I am so tired of seeing one party tear the other party down - this is getting to be the norm for anything now.

I'm betting he dropped out due to supporters pulling out their money. It's hard to run on fumes. But I could be wrong.Herman Cain just quit the presidential race today.
