You don't obey the Sabbath, .
How about it Bob, do you actually "keep" the Sabbath? Do you turn your foot from doing your own pleasure? Are your thoughts and words centered on Holy things for the entire 24 hours? If not you are just as guilty as were the Israelites who could never "keep" the day. IS 58:13 “If you keep your feet from breaking the SabbathDo you say that as the "Accuser of the brethren" in Rev 12 - or do you have some "other source"??
How about it Bob, do you actually "keep" the Sabbath? Do you turn your foot from doing your own pleasure? Are your thoughts and words centered on Holy things for the entire 24 hours?
Exodus chapter 20 verse 10Do you say that as the "Accuser of the brethren" in Rev 12 - or do you have some "other source"??
Absolutely not, but I certainly can inspect fruit. Somehow I just knew that you would skirt the issue. It is hard to believe thata person could get so brainwashed.....Are you offering yourself as the judge of all mankind in this regard?
You don't obey the Sabbath, .
Exodus chapter 20 verse 10
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to tho Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.
Exodus chapter 35 verse 3 Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.
So if you want to follow the Sabbath you can't have your stove on or refrigerator,...
E
Galatians chapter 3 verse 24,25,23 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith now that faith has come we are no longer under the supervision of the law before this faith came we were held prisoner's by the law locked up until faith should be revealed.
How about it Bob, do you actually "keep" the Sabbath? Do you turn your foot from doing your own pleasure? Are your thoughts and words centered on Holy things for the entire 24 hours?
Absolutely not, but I certainly can inspect fruit. .
You don't please god by obeying his law, but by your faith expressing itself in love, Galatians chapter 5 verse 6Do you say that as the "Accuser of the brethren" in Rev 12 - or do you have some "other source"??
Is it your claim that because you imagine Gods LAWs to be "inconvenient" that we should be at war against them?
Really??
That is a "sola scriptura" argument against God's Word??
you may want to re-think that one.
your statement on how the lost person views the Law of God is pretty close.
Now for how the SAVED person views the LAW of God --
"I will write My LAWS on their heart and mind" Jer 31:31-33
"The saints KEEP the Commandments of God AND their faith in Jesus" Rev 14:12
"what matters is Keeping the Commandments of God" 1 Cor 7:19
More skirting the issue. Why not just be honest and answer the questions. You expect us to answer your questions, so why do you refuse to answer our questions. You are on this site to proselytize your faith, but do not play fair. Are you offering yourself as the judge of all mankind in this regard?
will you then be fault-finding on all of God's commandments for Loving God with all our heart and loving our neighbor as yourself.
Or do you reserve this level of fault-finding and accusing -- for just God's Sabbath Commandment?
I think we are all seeing some "fruit" -- just then.
More skirting the issue.

Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Lev 19:18)
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

James 2
8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, ou shall love your neighbor as yourself, (Lev 19:18) you are doing well.
9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
11 For He who said, [/FONT]
Do not commit adultery
also said,
Do not commit murder.
Now if you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty

Matt 5
17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jer 31:
31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—
32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.
33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Heb 8
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
8 Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—
9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete

Rom 3
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Mark 7
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

Rom 8
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the Law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
