Games I remember are HI-HO Cherry-o, Don't Break The Ice, Monopoly, and Life. Those were some of my favs.

Of course loved my Barbies, and I loved my Barbie Head that you could do the hair, and put on makeup. I had a Chrissy doll that could have long or short hair if you turned a knob on her back. Of course Barbie dated my brothers GI-Joe.

I had stuffed animals, but didn't love them like my daughter does.

I am soo not artistic. When I worked for a preschool I would have to design my own bulliten boards and I would try to make it something the kids would go gaga over. Granted I managed to pull it off each month, but if I hadn't had assistants to help it would never work. I got the ideas and they made it work.lol

Sounds like me - I can see things in my head but don't have the ability to make them reality.

I am learning how to knit though - enjoy that a lot:thumbsup:

My youngest has been working on figuring out the knitting thing. I find it amazing she has done as much with it as she has, tend to get frustrated with things. But she loves it. My granny tried to teach me to knit and gave up. lol

Do you have Sunday dinner plans? I'll be making a penne pasta in a simple pomodoro sauce tossed with grape tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella cheese. Maybe a nice glass of Pinot Noir or Sangviovese. Simple but yummy!!

Do you have a favorite place that you'd like to retire to?

Personally, I'm narrowed down to Traverse City, Michigan or Asheville, North Carolina. Of course, I'd have to talk my church into moving with me - otherwise I stay where I am.

OK - now I don't mean this to be a morbid question, but . . . . assuming that all family members are safe, what one thing would you take with you if you had to evacuate your house in an emergency (i.e. housefire)?

(Since most people say photographs, assume they're ok and choose something else!)

We haven't thought to much but went camping once at Caddo Lake in Texas and it was beautiful. Would love to get a small place on the lake.

Have you ever read the bible from cover to cover?
No I haven't somehow I always get distracted and go looking for something specific and then start reading from the new location. Some day I am going to get through the whole thing.

I googled Caddo Lake - it looks amazing - just beautiful. I can see why it appeals to your family. I've never been to Texas, but my sister lived in New Orleans in the 80's & 90's - when we visited her we took a bayou tour - looks very similar. Sort of an eerie beauty.
