No guns -- literal or figurative -- are being put to anyone's head. The rules are what they have always been -- whether you educate yourself on them or not.
Businesses have the right to set rules regarding the people they sign paychecks for, citing health and safety reasons. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has allowed employers to mandate the flu vaccine, among many others, to employees to protect the safety and well-being of the workforce from a "direct threat" -- provided, of course, they allow people to opt out based on the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and other federal laws that bar a mandate for medical or religious reasons.
The COVID vaccine is no different -- merely one more item to add to a list which is clearly far longer than you were aware.

Finally, mandating the often totally ineffective flu vaccine (see CDC flu site for effectiveness- or lack thereof) is wrong. Mandating covid vax is wrong. Two wrongs don’t make it right.
