The measuring of light is horribly inaccurate.

How so?

Scientists have been able to slow light to a dead stop with the right conditions as well as speed it up more than a factor of 100.

Actually, light has not been speed up by a factor of 100 (those so-called "speed of light broken" stories from a couple years back were a case of media hype and misunderstanding of the experiment involved). And as far as slowing down light, that doesn't help the creationist case.

And unless these experiments apply to the vacuum of space, it doesn't matter what scientists do to the speed of light. After all, just because an experiment can be done under specific conditions that affect the speed of light, doesn't mean that it will apply outside of those conditions.

YEah, you do that - and make sure you show me how individual photons has been "sped up" to more than a factor of 100. I did graduate school work in particle physics with Chiao at Berkeley who is one of the leading experts on superluminal travel (i.e. movement of particles at speeds greater than the speed of light in a vacuum) - so far there is absolute no evidence that any information can ever travel at faster than the speed of light in a vacuum, and there is a lot of reason why it cannot.

Please learn a little bit more about the subject before you start spouting nonesense.

Light slows down and changes shape all the time, that is why you can see clear objects, it is called refraction. c is thre speed of light in a vaccum.

What other reason would he ignore a YEC Conservative Christian for?

STAY IN CANADA!
I can see why he'd ignore you; you have nothing to offer except insults and ignorance.

Tell me though, let's flip this around, why should anyone *not* ignore you?

is it always just a bunch of bickering in these threads. This is my first day actually participating on this forum and so far I am not impressed with the way people (expecially christians) are talking. Lets have an intellegent disscusion please.

Actually, there is intelligent discussion here (browse around the forum, and you'll find some threads; check for posts by TrueCreation, a good example of a creationist discussing things properly). Occationally, however, threads degenerate into a bunch of meaningless rhetoric (sorry about that, btw).

However, you're not the first person to note this happening and not the first person to admonish other creationists, either.
