That makes the earth 935 at the time of Adams death...Correct?

Only if you believe that:

1. The Bible is totally correct
2. Your interpretation of Genesis as literal history and not allegory is totally correct.

If you do not believe one of these, then you are left looking at the evidence, and the evidence shows quite clearly that the Earth is approxmately 4.5 billion years. If you do believe these two things, you are forced to believe that your God manufactured false evidence that is deliberately deceptive (example: we have observed supernovas that have occurred many hundreds of thousands of light years away - which means that they occurred many hundreds of thousands of years ago or God created light in transit showing the death of a star that never existed).

In the words of my Lord and Saviour,"Do what you must do quickly"
Creation has 0 evidence, while the actual science you are denying *does* have evidence.

If you want your kids taught biblical mythology, they can learn it in a comparative religions class-not a science class.

For empiricle evidence go to drdino.com (im sure you are all familiar with it) and also read the book the case for christ by lee stroble.
You have got to be kidding, right??

You can't honestly think that Kent has any sort of credibility what-so-ever can you? Creationist organizations don't even take him seriously.

You misunderstand. The Big Bang theory describes a state at which time the universe was incredibly dense, then expanded. The actual origin of the BB itself is unknown.

IF so, why isnt Creation presented equally?

Because the Big Bang theory is derived from empirical evidence (go here to learn more about the BB theory: http://map.gsfc.nasa.gov/m_uni.html). Diety-based creation is not.

Yes, I know, you KNOW exactly how the Universe was created because the book you worship tells you so.

Why are my children being taught that "perhaps" the universe was created by the big bang?

The Universe was not created by the big bang. The Big Bang is the expansion of the Universe from an earlier undiscovered and potentially undiscoverable state. It is a theory that fell out of the equations of General Relativity and has been well supported by the evidence (for example the observed Cosmic Background Radiation). It is a scientific explanation for observations that we have.

IF so, why isnt Creation presented equally?

Because "Creation" is a Judeo-Christian religious concept and teaching such things in public schools is a violation of the establishment clause. It is in no way a valid scientific explanation, so it cannot be discussed as science.

How exactly am I saying that, "Truth" traveler?

How did you distort what I said into such a blatant confabulation?
Because creation and creationISM are different.

I can create something and it is my CREATION.

Look it up in a dictionary.

We are very familiar with that site. Now never speak of it again.

(Seriously, his "evidence" has been rebuked so many times on this forum, it's not funny any more.)

and also read the book the case for christ by lee stroble.

What does this book try to prove? That Christ was a real person? Or that God Himself is real?
