Blackberry is a cellphone/electronic organizer. Very cool.

A Blackberry is a cell phone/PDA combo which is capable of Internet browsing, receiving email, text messaging, and other cool functions. It's used mostly by business types. If you give one to your spouse, it virtually guarantees that he's never out of touch unless he turns the thing off. Whether or not that's a good thing depends on how you're keeping track of him

And what is the difference between a blackberry and PDA? My husband has used a Palm PDA for a few years...is a blackberry the same thing?

Lisa, the Blackberry does a lot of the same things a PDA does. You can downloac/upload from your Blackberry to a PC via a cable, so essentially its function as a PDA doesn't take much getting used to. If your hubby's already done a Palm, he wouldn't have any problems figuring a BB out.
The only basic difference between a Palm and a Blackberry is that the Blackberry has phone capabilities and inherent software for address book. The typing on a Blackberry takes some getting used to, but it's addictive.
I've heard people call it a "Crackberry"

Blackberry aka "Crack"berry because they are very addictive. VERY! It's constant communication via all avenues - phone, e-mail, and even instant msg. It's crazy. Yes - I'm addicted to one.
iPod. I thank God everyday for blessing me with this wonderful invention. I have a Gen3 20GB iPod. I have 1500 songs on it. Beautiful thing!

She means like... if you put your Blackberry on vibrate mode and tape it to your back, and then call your Blackberry from another phone, then it operates as a convenient back massager.cnlisa said:
