I made the mistake of turning my 'Holiday styling' back on out of curiosity when I heard that we'd changed to snow.

Now I can't turn it off. I've unchecked the Holiday Styling' box (several times) and 'Saved' it (several times) - it's still snowing.

I've restarted CF (several times) and restarted the PC (several times) - no luck.

Like many others I'm finding the snowflakes distracting not to mention inappropriate for my version of Christmas. In Australia it never ever snows at Christmas.

Can someone please fix this ??

If not - can you please substitute a few sharks cruising by instead of the snow, so I can feel part of the celebration?

I did check to see if your being stuck in the snow was a problem on our end and couldn't find anything. So it may have something to do with how your device interacts with this site. If you have another device you may want to try disabling it on that device.
I put it down to global warming...

Thanks St H

I have a tablet. I'll go and play with it.

Success!!

I logged on to CF via the tablet and disabled the snowstorm.

When I opened CF on the PC the snow had gone - thank you for the brilliant suggestion.

Now - all I need is a shovel to clear the piles of melting snow out of the house. ;)

You have the option to turn the styling off. My previous avatar wasn't too compatible with the style so I picked another from my albums that was more compatible.

I hope you figure it out, I'm glad you posted because I was tempted to look and see how the snow looked, and then I would turn it off, but to have it on forever? no thanks!

All fixed.

I logged on to CF using an Android tablet I've had for years. I used the tablet to turn the snow off then went back to my normal Windows PC. Fortunately, it worked and I'm finally out of the snowstorm and back to normal summer heat.
