Well, my boyfriend and I have been together for a year or so now...
We've made some mistakes & chose some wrong paths.
But we've corrected all of it and are way more strong in our relationship with God as a couple and individually than we ever were before.
Well about a month ago when he had to leave for the air force academy he told me he didn't want to kiss until he's married...aafter so many times of kissing him he drops that on me...& then earlier today he said he was thinking about what he said a lot but then he couldn't explain cause he had to go right away..so now I'm not really sure what's going on, but I mean when I visit him I would want to kiss him, and I'm sure he would want the same, but would he? I'm not even sure where I'm getting at with this anymore, but would you do the same...like after being with someone for a year and having kissed them who knows how many times just all of a sudden say we're not kissing anymore? I don't know why he said it.
Ahhhhh this is kind of lame, but thoughts would be great!

Well it depends how he said that he didn't want to kiss untill he was married. Was he saying just as a 'fun fact' so that you could know each others history of thoughts better? I worded that in a wierd way :S

Or did he mean from that point on he didn't want to kiss?

It does seem pretty strange considering the time for saying something like that has long gone. Anyway, why don't you talk to him and tell him how you feel about it and ask how he feels about it? Having a working relationship involves that sorta thing..... talking

Haha, we talked about it last night. When he said it I knew he was serious cause he was in a bad place but it just shocked me that he chose that, but I would of course still stick by him.
Anyway he said that he didn't want to kiss until being married so he can avoid temptation which is understandable because, like I said, we chose some wrong paths... but he said we could kiss as long as we control ourselves...that's kind of weird to say on here. But yeah... which I totally agree with

Your boyfriend is making a good decision. Too many couples give into temptation, and get out of control
