Teach her this - I learned it from Dare to Share:
G - God created us to be with him
O - Our sins seperate us from God
S - Sins cannot be removed by good deeds
P - Paying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again
E - Everyone who trusts in him alone has eternal life
L - Life that's eternal means we will be with Jesus forever
Its simple enough to memorize. or you could take her to a dare to share conference. or youth group.

Dear NewShinyCD,

"But, I think on of the reasons she is having trouble becoming a Christian is because of her friends. They don't go to church and they don't believe in God because of those stupid irrelevant questions that "dismiss God" (you know the ones like "How did Moses get all those animals on the boat?" or "If Cain killed Abel then how did three people repopulate the earth" etc etc)"

It is good to have responses to these questions as they show your girl friend that Christianity has answers. For example, Answers In Genesis have articles which deal with these two questions that you asked which you can print and give her a copy of. As for Cain and Abel, the Bible says that Adam and Eve had "other sons and daughters" (Genesis 5:4)...

Since I don't know anything about your friend and am still, like you, trying to understand how to effectively share my faith to others, I won't tell you what you should say to her. I suggest that you talk to your pastor about how to go about.

I guess one of the most powerful ways that you can witness to her is just to live out your faith. Inviting her to church is always a good idea; you know what they say, you may have to invite someone seven times before they'll come along. Pray constantly for her that her heart may be changed by God and that she'll be open to hear the Gospel and that when that time comes, that God will guide you and every other brother and sister in what to say.
