I'm sorry I don't understand your question. My Calvinism is based on 1) the literal understanding of the Bible, 2) the five solas, 3) Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion, 4) the Canons of the Dordrecht (the exposition of TULIP) and 5) the Westminster Confession of Faith. Also, books by Louis Berkhof, D. N. Steele, J. Gresham Machen, R. C. Sproul
etc. Yes, I know, my approach is very dogmatic, and can be seen frustrating from the so-called open-minded theology. Also, I try to get an elementary understanding of the Biblical languages since I'm a retired person with perhaps too much of free time on my hands -
ad fontes and all that.
But I guess the proper forum to discuss all that is the
Presbyterian forum, although I'm not a very good theologian. I'm not a confrontational person by nature. I just want to make sense of things.
