Hi all,

I am a college-educated professional, with a few IT cetifications under my belt. I'm also a former atheist, meth/weed/alcohol/video game addict, and perhaps a minister-in-training, given I've been looking for a new vocation. I still play video games occasionally, but have left the drugs behind, thanks to God. I live down in Kentucky, not too far from where the Derby is held. By faith, I guess you could call me a Heinz 57: a little bit of Methodist, a bit of Missionary Baptist, and a little bit of Catholiscism. I also keep track of things like physics and astronomy research and try and see if I can suss out how it all fits into the Holy Bible and God's creation being revealed to us.

Thanks for the nice welcome I've recieved so far. If any of you ever want to ask me anything about how God got me off hard drugs, feel free to ask. I know well what those demons in physical form can do to a person. No judgment from me on such things - only the knowledge that God can help you overcome it, and that I'd be honored to be of help in any such endeavour.

I have found; in times of trouble; like we have with this CV-19; that listening to; and singing along to good Christian P&W music; can bring us closer to Jesus and His wonderful peace.
