I've recently made the very difficult decision that Christianity is the true faith and to actually try to live as a Christian.

I've seen some awesome discussions here and look forward to learning from you all!

Read the bible both day and night. It doesn't take much; even a chapter at a time. But the reason I do this myself is because we are instructed by the very word of the Lord to do this here:

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. ~Joshua 1:8

When you have begun this discipline then there is only one other thing I will encourage you by at this time. Read this word and understand it:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
~1 Peter 2:9

Know this for your good for this is who you are in Christ now. Be bold and take up the priesthood of God, reading his word in prayer for the glory of his name.
