Hello Childfree Forum Members!
In scouring the internet for information/experiences/opinions about childfreedom, and specifically among Christians, I'm really glad to have found this forum.
So I thought I'd introduce myself: we are married and in our late 20's-early 30's. We have two feline lady roommates, a tuxedo cat and a calico who previously lived at the local animal shelter.
We are between 95-98% sure that we do not want to concieve, bear, raise children and the remaining 2-5% of uncertainity is based on culture, social pressure, general indecisiveness, etc.
I'm currently reading the following books:
1. Complete without Kids: Childfree Living by Choice or by Chance
by Ellen Walker
2. Two is Enough: A Couple's Guide to Living Childless by Choice
by Laura S. Scott
3. The Baby Matrix: (long subtitle)
by Laura Carroll
Maybe others have read these? I am a person who seems to need ''permission'' from outside sources/moral support for decisions that aren't mainstream and/or because I wasn't an ''early articulator'' (I never thought much about having kids at all), I'm now thinking about it for the first time and it looks like a big, fat ''How 'bout No?''
So I'm very grateful that there are resources and like-minded folks out there!!
I have various questions, but I thought it would be better to introduce myself first
