There are some problems with this analogy (1) God is not a man, there is no sin or no unrighteousness in Him (2) people who know the love of God through Christ Jesus will not suffer

The Mormons call it outer darkness too, so does James. But Jesus calls it a fire, a fire is a place with heat.

Therefore needing fuel.
Let us say it is a literal fire, needing fuel. The fuel would be those who rejected Christ.

It will be Holy fire though surely, nothing like what we imagine. Maybe the fuel is sin. I don't like thinking on this too much. It feels unrighteous speaking of things as this without giving the utmost respect to God and His judgements.

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
Hebrews 10:31

That is why we are so blessed, we have appealed to His mercy rather than His justice.

I don't know for sure what Hell will be. I don't think it will be warmth, but the absence of everything- a black hole, I suppose. To me, this would be worse than a literal fire, where there is light. It is an unhappy thing to talk about, but important to try and "wake up" people who are unsaved.

Sorry hun, just realised I put that as a reply to yiu. It was a reply to the thread in general. Just the first bit as a reply to you. I can't help but think of the parable Jesus said where the rich man was in Hell and asked for water and Lazurus to send a message back to his friends and family to warn them. Only I don't think it was a parable. :/

I'm not scared of Hell for myself personally. Trust Jesus has saved me from it. However, it does stress the importance of doing our part to spread the Gospel.

That's alright. It is sobering. From what I read of your posts, I figured you were saved.

About the rich man and Lazaraus, I heard a testimony of an evangelist from Africa once. He said he was saved because a missionary came to Africa and preached about the rich man and Lazarus. He told the Africans, "Tonight, there is someone in Hell crying for you to be saved and not follow them there."

The African said he knew his father had went to Hell, and could picture his father in Hell like the rich man crying for his son to be saved. It was a very moving testimony. The young man was saved and became an evangelist, preaching the good news that Christ saves. Hopefully, I can find the link online. I will post it in the thread if I can.

Well, unless you actually give the demonstrations and explanations, you're still not answering my question.

Maybe it would be more like a nuclear fusion, just like the sun. No need to keep adding fuel.
