Hell is a place outside of God (Separation from him)
It is also a place of eternal fire (Eternal energy)
The law of entropy (The 2nd law of thermodynamics) disallows this by the fact God is not present to sustain it's energy requirements.
If the natural laws of thermodynamics has been suspended for hell, then it must be a miraculous place.
There are some problems with this analogy (1) God is not a man, there is no sin or no unrighteousness in Him (2) people who know the love of God through Christ Jesus will not sufferI'll tell you a short story:
I met a drug couple, who were speed addict's. They invited me in to try some speed, after I refused to inject it the guy took a shower and left me alone with his girlfriend. I noticed stitches in her lips and a bruised cheek.

It will be Holy fire though surely, nothing like what we imagine. Maybe the fuel is sin. I don't like thinking on this too much. I can't help but think of the parable Jesus said where the rich man was in Hell and asked for water and Lazurus to send a message back to his friends and family to warn them. I don't know for sure what Hell will be. I don't think it will be warmth, but the absence of everything- a black hole, I suppose. To me, this would be worse than a literal fire, where there is light. It is an unhappy thing to talk about, but important to try and "wake up" people who are unsaved.

I'm not scared of Hell for myself personally. Trust Jesus has saved me from it. However, it does stress the importance of doing our part to spread the Gospel.

About the rich man and Lazaraus, I heard a testimony of an evangelist from Africa once. He said he was saved because a missionary came to Africa and preached about the rich man and Lazarus. He told the Africans, "Tonight, there is someone in Hell crying for you to be saved and not follow them there."
The African said he knew his father had went to Hell, and could picture his father in Hell like the rich man crying for his son to be saved. It was a very moving testimony. The young man was saved and became an evangelist, preaching the good news that Christ saves. Hopefully, I can find the link online. I will post it in the thread if I can.
