You mean as God creating us on accident. Life in general like a big chemistry experiment? God knows everything in advance. Even if mankind decided to sin against Him, it was part of God's plan. Now something like the Big Bang Theory, I can see how that can be a chemistry experiment gone wild. But wouldn't that mean evolutionists would think evolution is a big accident as well?

Correcting the opening post, ONE scientist prepared ONE paper on abiogenesis, not biological evolution. Abiogenesis is a very young science and it is nice to see more work being done, right or wrong.

That having been said:

Shapiro's data, reasoning and conclusions and the falsifiability of the information contained in his paper will be discussed and analysed by others in the very young field of abiogenesis studies for months, if not years to come.

There will be debate and perhaps (or perhaps not) consensus that what he said is supported by enough evidence to allow others to research along the lines he has, or it may be thrown out entirely.

I wonder if there is a name for this sort of thing? Uuummm, science, yeah, that sounds about right

they haven't the slightest clue as to how life formed - but they are ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that God didn't do it. The diligent search for truth and knowledge -- er "science" you say?

Did you read the article you posted? Have you read any scientific articles on this matter?

Complete mischaracterization of Science and work on Abiogenesis...

That right there shows you have no idea what you're talking about. Science says nothing about God, for or against, he's always there as a possibility, but because of his unfalsifiable and unknown nature, he's not science. Doesn't mean he didn't do it, just means you won't be reading about how he made chemical 1 combine with chemical 2 to make a simple protein.

Even if Abiogenesis became accepted scientific theory it would not say anything about what God did or did not do.

You just took away my evidence. Testimony and God's word IS the evidence of a Christian, may I remind you.

The Bible was written by people. It is poor evidence. We are Christians not Biblians though many on this website don't seem to understand that.

The Bible wasn't written by man but through man by the Holy Spirit Himself. God wrote the Holy Bible, man was merely the messenger. It was breathed out by God Himself and the evidence is rich and true.

No it was not. That just doesn't hold up unless you believe the Lord is incompetent.

It was written by men. It was copied by men. Hence the errors and contradictions - and please don't say where are those - the OT (and even the NT) is full of them.
