The more vaccinations Israelis receive, the more the COVID cases skyrocket.

That’s what the latest data shows, as Israel has now set a world record in COVID cases per capita. This despite the fact 90% of the population has been vaccinated and more than 80% have received at least one booster.

Well, they clearly need to be boosted some more. If 4 shots aren't enough, make it a 5th.....and a 6th, 7th, 8th.....

Well considering Omicron is 80% more communicable than the previous variants, that makes sense. But the pandemic now reduced to an endemic and the illness itself now only cold or flu like upper respiratory rather than the deadly lower form, the only real danger seems to be for those with co-morbidities, you know... high blood pressure, obesity, lung diseases, heart problems and diabetes. So newest covid cases will have seemed to spike but it is very short lived and the natural immunity that omicron provides far outweighs the panic the media keeps hyping.

It still remains those with previous covid and vaccines are in the best position to not get seriously ill or end up in hospital. That applies to plain vaccinated or previously ill only in second place. But those without vaccine have the least chance of avoiding hospital.

So here's what I think is going on, people who did not get vaccinated caught Covid. People who got vaccinate did not get Covid.

Now Omicron comes. People who got previous infected with Covid are more resistant. People who only took vaccines but avoided infection got more easily infected by Omicron.

Fortunately, the Omicron isn't quite deadly.

I'm not getting any more booster shots. My blood pressure shoots up everytime and I get chest pains around the heart like I'm having a heart attack. Maybe it's from all the stress I'm dealing with but large jumps in bp coincides with vaccine shots.

Of course their case numbers have gone up. It's pretty apparent from the graph that they're near the peak of Omicron. Vaccination can help, but it certainly doesn't eliminate cases.

It's hard to compare between countries, because testing is so different. It's obvious that in the US we've missed lots of cases. I assume that's true elsewhere, but likely differs depending upon the medical system and other things.

Among countries with competent services, deaths might be more consistent, although even then there can be differences on how one judges whether death is from Covid. Israel is doing a lot better than the US on deaths, 922 / M compared to 2703. No comparison can work with third world countries, nor with countries like Russia and China where leadership is likely to suppress information.

But certainly you can't blame the current peak on anything other than Omicron.

Not to mention whether the medical systems are publicly funded or private enterprise. Some facilities apparently actually get funded per case if the patient is diagnosed with covid. Numbers of covid alone deaths are not that high. Also the overall health of nations plays a big part in the numbers, co-morbidity being the largest factor in deaths when coupled with covid. Unhealthy diet and physical condition has greatly influenced numbers.

Yet the medical journals are now saying Omicron is the vaccine man wished they had made.

People are more than willing today today for what they used to get for free, so why would this surprise anyone? Consumerism wins out over common sense.

See all what we are seeing with this pandemic is symptom management, but never once have I heard anything about getting to the root problem.

This is what I don't understand.

So what is the problem? Are we looking at something that can survive both inside and outside the body, or something that requires a host to survive? Or are we looking at a combination of both?

See this mentality that people have "just take the vaccine, just get the boosters when they come out" this is not fixing the problem, this is at most symptom management.

So at the end of the day, what is the problem? Why is this pandemic ongoing? There are good valid questions.

The idea was to spread out the pandemic to decrease influx to medical aide. Basically the same people will get sick or die, but the influx will be more manageable if spread over a longer period of time. That being said, there is nothing stopping outside sources from taking advantage of a pandemic for their own purposes, as they are freely claiming to do (WEF as an example). It would not be in their best interest to have the test runs and their reset shortened.

Another big problem is the lack of early treatment. Hospitals don't want you until you're barely able to breathe. Other than that, we're told to get one of the few vaccines being pushed while all other treatment methods (no matter how effective) are suppressed from even being discussed in public or social media.
