There were TWO exceptions. I think that you need to read your Bible more. It is NOT about what we think but what God thinks.

Sorn also said," You need some desire to do these things otherwise they would be content staying near the same tree and eating the same fruit.
In heaven there will be things to do, places to see, experiences to have and it will be ok to want to do these things."

What you or I desire is much different than what sinless and naive/innocent (perfect and ignorant of the knowledge of good and evil) Adam and Eve desired before the fall of man.

Besides, we mortals with our fleshly tent and carnal yearnings, are far from anything like we will be in heaven. It will be all about Christ there. Even the crowns that we may have achieved here on earth for His glory will be surrendered and joyously thrown at His feet for HIS glory and Honor there as we begin our time there. It will be all about HIM. Again, read your Bible and you will know this, also.

Everything else was available. I won't insult you by suggesting you need to read the bible more but God only gave Adam & Eve that 1 prohibition.

Also, you don't know how long they were alive before they sinned, so you have no idea how naive or not they were, innocent yes but naivety is a different thing.

Just because i want to explore a park in heaven will not mean that Christ won't be my Lord and saviour, (although technically when all is said in done (ie in the real eternity) we become brothers and sisters of Christ and everything is subjugated to the Father)

Yes, you are right in one way and I am right in another. There were TWO trees God did not want them to eat from in the Garden for which He DID forbid them to eat; the first was verbally and the second, as given next. Gen 3:22b-24 NIV ""He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life."

I was using this Oxford Dictionary definition of naive, "1.1(of a person) natural and unaffected; innocent. ‘Andy had a sweet, naive look when he smiled’" pasted from: Naive | Definition of Naive by Oxford Dictionary on Lexico.com also meaning of Naive Hence, the use of the forward slash with innocent as I used. We DO know that they were sinless and w/o knowledge of good and evil; naive or innocent. Boy you are sure getting nicky picky, fruitless.

I am always hopeful ... when He completes His plan He will restore all the wonderful pets He gave to me (and others) over my lifetime ... I envision walking down a path in the garden and every single one of them running towards me .... whatever He has planned will be wonderful for sure ... but I do hang on to this possibility ;o)

Oh! I forgot to say this. I love your pen name. Been on my thoughts heavily lately. I actually tried to change my title under the Avatar to that yesterday but couldn't find the way to do it. I did it once but forgot how. I also have been thinking about putting a poster out in the front yard that ALL lives matter. Yesterday, I added it as my status on my acct here. Franklin Graham has also been posting articles relative to the sports arena and "all lives matter", lately, on my FB line thing.

We all matter to God. I am glad to see a positive for Franklin Graham. I care for him just as I loved his dad.

I just have a weird sense of humor and I don't really think lustful thoughts,.. I just think that a lot of guys are attractive which seem like two entirely different things. God designed me to think like that about the opposite sex so I can't really help it.
