I like to focus on the 'pictures' Christ gives us of himself in the bible, the tree of live, the sacrificial lamb, the fountain of living water, the bread of life, the vine, the bridegroom, etc... the heavenly great marriage supper where we will be feasting with him and all the saints we never knew, the saints we've talked with, lived with and will live with on earth. The new heavens Christ is preparing will have no tears in our eye, no doubts in our head, no worries, everlasting joy, praise, singing, laughter, rejoicing, all the blissful emotions that we can never begin to imagine or explain.
Heaven to me is a spiritual paradise, but yet so real. I wouldn't even look into the cube shape that John describes coming down from heaven. Let's just think for a moment how many dimentions are mention in the bible? 4 is my basic understanding, 'length, breadth, depth and height', time is also mentioned in the bible, that makes 5. Some Rabbi's believe there's 10 dimentions. Scientists may agree similar.
