Here in the Los Angeles area, we're having tripple digit record breaking heat. How's everyone else dealing with this severe summer weather?

yeah up here placerville hit 109. Im barely hanging on to my sanity.

Hit 110 on Friday about 20 miles west of Portland. We went to the beach for most of the weekend, and it's finally cooling off now.

Theres a simple way to stay cool, go swim. Here in California it also reached 110 .

It's been warm here in Redding, too...but then, we regularly hit triple digits, anyway. Last year we had a solid month where the highs were never less than 100. The last few weeks we've been regularly 110+.

I'm putting in for a transfer over to Arcata, though, on the North Coast. I hear they almost hit 70 over the weekend!

today, here in Manteca, CA was a tad cooler - only 107 or so......yesterday my wall temp read 113. tomorrow will be cooler - around 104 or so.

am feeling a chill already.
