A federal appeals court has preserved President Donald Trump’s ability to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles, blocking for at least a few days a judge’s order that found the call-up illegal and unconstitutional.

If the rioting has quelled, is because of the presence of the National Guard and the diligent work of law enforcement. ICE isn't going give into domestic terrorism and quit doing their job. So it remains to be seen if another violent outbreak occurs when ICE raids the next establishment harboring illegal aliens.

That was a report from 5 days ago, detailing the protests in that specific downtown area. Don't you read that which you link to?

It was bizarre, they said, seeing the city portrayed on the news and social media as a place of total chaos when most of Los Angeles was carrying on like any other day. “People back where we live are going to completely be horrified,” said Cowan-Banker, a 42-year-old personal trainer. “I’m sure they think it’s a war zone here. ”

An organised rebellion (and financed by....somebody)? Trump saving L.A. from burning to the ground? You are being lied to. Constantly. And I think that what's happening is that some people have accepted the lies for so long that when it's pointed out that something is plainly, obviously, undeniably false then accepting it as such means that they think that they'll look foolish in doing so, having gone along with this fantasy for so long.

It's then a case of denying the undeniable. Of believing the unbelievable. Of accepting the unacceptable. Some people have gone so far along this trail of lies that they don't know how to get back to the truth. I'm not even sure that they know what the truth actually is any more.

I'm not arguing against your opinions. I'm pointing out that they are based on lies. You can't have a valid opinion if it's not based on the facts. Trump continuously lies to you. You accept those lies. Your opinions then have as much connection with reality as do his statements.

Thank you for your opinion - I can very easily see what is happening - there is plenty of video. And a leader in Congress publicly stating I shouldn't believe what I see does not help the credibility.
