It is not a matter of choosing. It is a matter that is to be decided by what is written.If we have to choose between "saved" or "faith" as the gift of God, then I would definitely go with "saved," since Scripture teaches us that salvation is the gift of God, and that we appropriate to ourselves that saving grace by a personal faith in Lord Jesus.
