People have to use what they can to destroy their political opponents. Not condemning someone loud enough is the best they've got to make DeSantis into a Nazi so the left runs with it. They need to paint him as someone at least as bad as Trump. Or Hitler. Same difference actually.

Groups. And they've repeatedly been involved in crimes against synagogues and other minorities. See above. They are the major domestic terrorism concern, and have been for a number of years. No point in denial.

Most people just think he needs to tell them that he doesn't want their support. There's no reason to suppose DeSantis is a Nazi, just because he tolerates supporters who are Nazis.

If one feels the need to make up a story and attribute it to others, isn't that a pretty good clue in itself?

It's not like people are doing dishonest things like claiming Biden wanted to defund police or have open borders. Those were lies. People are merely concerned that DeSantis is not denouncing Nazis for supporting him, or telling them that he doesn't want their support.

It did cost Biden votes when he opposed defunding police and when he continued enforcing immigration laws; many on the far left walked away from him. It's just noticeable that DeSantis doesn't have that kind of integrity.
