OK I'm back...I loved when Jesus said He was like a hospital and that we should bring our "ugly", unworthy selfs to him for healing. I smile to hear him express his love, that he is our hope. What encouraging words.

Jeff you are a lot like Jesus. he was a real man and the book of hebrews 4 says "in the days of his flesh Jesus offered up loud cries and tears to God."

we don't ever read in the gospels Jesus laughed but we read several times Jesus wept. You have a sensitive spirit. seems to me that Christ kissed your heart, made it soft and realeased your tears.

You are a blessing! I love your honesty!

Thank you for your precious words of love, I needed that and it was timely, isn't just like Yeshua to speak through our brothers or sisters when we need words of comfort and encouragement. I do long to be conformed to His life that is awakened in my deepest place, the place of mercy and grace that he has birthed inside of us. I long for the spiriit inside to take precidence over my flesh, but I do thank God for the weakness I have in the flesh, for when I am weak He is strong, when I fail, He is faithfull, when I fall short He is righteousness to me, He is our righteousness. Praise you my Lord, King, my bridegroom. If you see my Beloved tell Him I long for Him to take me away. I long to follow Him upon the crest of the Mountain of God, and in the valleys of darkness, as long as I follow Him I am not afraid.

I love that last quote!! I remember how Jesus took me into His love when I was younger and gradually wrapped me in faith and life in Himself. I was also afraid of 'being too tender' with my Beloved. at times I still am shy about showing my devotion to Him. (which is why I love being here with all of you so that we can love Him together!! thank You God) I always feel the need for healing, that yearning for forgiveness. for all the times when I rejected God's holy loveliness as a child...the fact that He's forgiven me so that I can share this loving relationship with my precious Brother Jesus is a blessing, a miracle.

I praise You O Father, and You O beautiful Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit who washed me in forgiveness, in love, in light and life. Blood of Jesus You saved me, hallelujah! I love You O Lord! You are my Friend, Lover, Brother- my All in All! Sweet Jesus thank You for Your special forgiveness! I shall glorify You forevermore in my soul! O Lovely Lord! O Life! O Jesus' beautiful Passion that drew me to You and set me free! I shall whisper Your name lovingly until I die and then forever bestow loving kisses upon Your blessed Body and Heart when You call me home to Your side! I adore and long for You Jesus! Come my precious Savior, come!

There is a similar book called Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young. The devotions are written from the viewpoint of God, talking to His child. One of her devotionals:

Grow strong in the Light of My Presence. Your weakness does not repel Me. On the contrary, it attracts My Power, which is always available to flow into a yielded heart. Do not condemn yourself for your constant need of help. Instead, come to Me with your gaping neediness; let the Light of My Love fill you.

A yielded heart does not whine or rebel when the going gets rough. It musters the courage to thank Me even during hard times. Yielding yourself to My will is ultimately an act of trust. In quietness and trust is your strength.

This is wonderful also!! I need to hear this today.

I think one of the things that is very close to Jesus' Heart is wanting everyone to understand the depth of His love. This is something we can only understand through faith right now, because we can't experience all of His love on earth. You know those times when you feel really close to God...that's just a bit of it... and it's already overwhelming! Imagine Heaven? St Faustina had visions of Jesus... and one day, He told her that if she were to experience all of His love on earth, she would not be able to bear it. We're not ready yet.. I really can't imagine what Heaven must be like but that's what it is, union with God. There was another Saint, who during an ecstasy cried out: "O Lord, if this is Heaven, it is enough!"
But the Lord repled, "You have a poor perspective. The joy you feel now is as but a painting of the sky compared to the real sky."

So what I'm trying to say is we really can't imagine how much Jesus loves us!! His love is literally infinite! wow!

There is a time that the mere touch of His love is so overwhelming that all I can do is tremble and weep, it becomes so powerful that I have to be the one to back away. He never backs away, when I am in the presence of Yehshua I realize what a dispicable man I truly am and without His mercy and grace I am undone. How I long for the experience even if but for a moment, his love is so strong that I just want to be able to share it with others, but I have no words that can even come close to discribe what I have felt. It is amazing that we can come into such a intimacy with our blessed Bridegroom so that we can taste even just a morsel of what it shall be like when we are with Him at the marriage supper and beyond.

So blessed by all you guys have shared today....

Last night I read in a book by St. Mechtilde of Magdeburg (whom KTS introduced me to
Jesus said in speaking of His humanity as the Son,
"The Godhead is my crown."

I thought that was SO beautiful. I was overwhelmed reading last night.

Like St.Faustina, He said some things to Mechtilde that were similar....we cannot bear the full weight of His glory. He can only give us a bit at a time.

I am overwhelmed by these things, the deep things of God. Then He reminds me He has told me "Stay little." So that makes me calm down.

I love what all of you have posted here too...I long for such a closeness with my Jesus...simply for time to be with Him! I often regret that there's too little time in my day to pray and when I DO find time to lay down and put myself in the arms of our sweet Lord, I am so moved and realize how much I need Him!
