This CONFIRM is much more akin to meaning this, FORCE A TREATISE or to FORCE A PEACE DEAL.

As per the Shorten the days, it means that God shortened the days in His original plans, it silly for us to think an ALL KNOWING God had to change His plans. He planned for 7 years with a 3.5 year period of Wrath, knowing full well at the time that if He allowed it t go any further than this that men would wipe themselves off the face of the earth.

He shortened the DAY ON EARTH or THIS AGE to a certain point on time, then comes the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth, thus its the End of the Age.

It does not last for 7 years but for 3,5 , after 3,5 years it's torn apart and Jews have to escape Jerusalem .

That label is just an excuse dreamed up by some in the seminaries to use against any Biblical idea they don't like that points away from their doctrines of men, mostly Preterist and Historicist doctrines of men. There is much Bible prophecy that is still future to us today, which makes those who created that Futurist label really look ignorant.

In summary, you cannot use seminary labels to prove the prophecies in Daniel 11 are not still future.

The Babylon harlot is not the Roman Catholic Church.

The Revelation harlot woman of Revelation 17 is Jerusalem, the "great city" also shown as Jerusalem where God's two witnesses will be killed per Rev.11.

Its called the 70th week for a reason, because its SEVEN YEARS, the IT you are referring to is Gods Wrath which starts when the FIRST SEAL is opened, thus the Anti-Christ comes forth in the MIDDLE OF THE WEEK, just like Daniel 9:27 stated he would. Everything in Revelation revolves around 1260 days on either side of the MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. You have a 3.5 years of Peace/Security, then Gods Wrath is 3.5 years. He allows the Anti-Christ to conquer Jerusalem which makes him a Beast for 42 Months. (1260 days).
