Many people have told me that they have felt that God was communicating with them at one point or another in their lives. Have any of you guys ever experienced this? If so, what was your experience like?
I have experienced a few visions that I believe were from God. Before I was a Christian, I would have said it was deja vu, if of course, I saw it, then later saw it in real life. But, when I became religious, they were more detailed, and more meaningful, whereas the prior were rather meaningless.
My first one was like a TV screen, with three screens for each moment. The first was my wife at the time crying, the second was me shaking hands with someone on a gravel area, and the third was me laying posed on a sign, brick sign smiling in a brown suit getting my picture taking.
This particular one actually came about all except the third as of yet, it has been about 5 years since the vision. My wife at the time called me crying, and said her sister also hada vision of her crying. Then, I went home to help a former boss open a store, with an understanding that the store was already almost opened. It wasn't open and I met him at the newly framed store with gravel on the area, and shook his hand. The next hasn't happened as of yet, but waiting.
I had another vision/dream and I was at my grandmothers, on the front porch when I saw helicopters and men jumping out of them. It then went to seeing them fire at what seemed to be an object formed from the clouds. It then went to a dark room where there where people jumping and reaching for a red material of sort coming down from the sky.
I had these visions while still a new Christian, reading my Bible for the first time. I came across these verses that made me get goosebumps.
Matt 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen
