Hate being let down:(

Hi everyone, im fed up of being let down.
So ive decided to take some action that will ensure that this doesnt happen, like it has in the past. i have forgiven the person and i know partly did it for the wrong reason. Im going to put my walls up everyone. So i dont feel tempted to do this again.

Sorry you've been let down again! Sometimes we need to learn our lesson on who cannot be trusted, who doesn't keep their word and follow through on their promises. We do need to protect our feelings from these people so we don't continue to set ourselves up to be let down and hurt. I would be careful though about putting up those walls!! They certainly will keep out the people who have hurt us before but they will also keep out people who can be trusted! Just protect yourself from the ones who continually hurt you, and let the rest of the people in !

I totally know this feeling. It does hurt. I was going through this for a long time when I felt NO ONE would email me....BUT I did just what you said, put a wall up...the wall of Christ, meaning that I TRY (try is the key word here) to focus on Christ and Christ only, for man will never totally fullfill us but Christ will. Girl I know this hurt that you are feeling...Like you I am VERY sensitive and I am also VERY sorry this happened to ya dear sister! Hang in there and PRAY, I know that I will for ya sis!
