Hi Family,

Why do you feel that some Christians pick and choose between different abominations to watch?

What i mean is that parents allow their children to watch Harry Potter (Deut 18) but not shows with any form of homosexuality(Lev 18:22; 20:13).

Both a witch and a homosexual are to be put to death.

As to WHY, I would hazard a guess that the naturalistic world view of most Christianity renders Potter and his genre to the realm of pure fantasy. The belief that the supernatural is an absolute impossibility.

But homosexuality is all around us, or so many would have us believe; and is seen as a real threat. So keep the kids away from the real and allow them to indulge in the impossible. Except Potter et al is NOT as impossible as many think.
