Harry Harrison dead at 87

Another legend has passed.

Slippery Jim diGriz was one of my favorite characters. My local library had a few Stainless Steel Rat novels that I must have checked out a half a dozen times each.

He will be missed.

He was one of the greats. Along with the Stainless Steel Rat stories I also loved his Deathworld novels.
His book "Make Room, Make Room" was developed in the classic film, Soylent Green.
I think I'll re-read my copy over this weekend.
