Combative, polarizing language on either side of an issue doesn't solve problems. I tried to offer good, concrete ideas as to how churches and government could reduce abortions, with everyone working together.

Sadly, polarizing language works against that goal.

What is important is how it appears to the listener. As someone who is serious about wanting to reduce abortions by mobilizing churches and governments to take the steps I outlined, I am a bridge between factions.
I have friends who are pro-life. I have friends who are pro-choice. The pro-choicers who hear the words "murdering children" see a closed door. They see a person whose views are so extreme that no communication or cooperation is possible.
They would like to work with churches in helping make healthy families and healthy young people with self-worth and self-discipline. Most of them are active members of churches--and they are trying to do those very things. They would like your cooperation, but all they see and hear is a closed door.
