At least she showed up. It has been the tradition of 60 Minutes to interview both major candidates. This year they only interviewed VP Harris.

Regardless of groundless speculation that the interview may have been heavily edited, two days later she appeared on the View and Colbert, both before live audiences.
Her running mate appeared on Jimmy Kimmel, also before a live audience. I don't think there was an audience with the Howard Stern interview.

Harris has also been doing interviews with "influencers." Respectfully, it seems as if she has absolutely no fear of interviews, and it's refreshing to see one of our presidential candidates use this format.

Reality is that she AVOIDED interviews and even interactions with the press pool that traveled with her up until the very last minute.

I have the opinion that is because she is an absolute train wreck, as evidenced of her refusal or inability to answer direct questions. People are not buying it. She was gifted the position when they removed the other train wreck because they did not want to loose almost 100 million in donations only she could use.

This is a horrible, horrible candidate - let me remind those just 90 days ago she was rated (by her Democrat collogues also) as the worst VP in recent history.

Lunch monitor Tim is worse.

We don't need a lunch monitor - or a joyful warrior - we need a leader and neither of those fit the bill.

Please let people look at this interview and others and make their own opinions without coloring it with your own biased words.

As I said, only one candidate had the courage to appear on 60 Minutes, accepting the terms that there would be fact checking.

I'm a little confused. First you complain her interview was edited (at least that candidate provided material to edit!) and then you bicker about the two live audiences she faced two days later.

Since you brought that into the conversation - thank you.

This is a good reply - readers can listen and judge for themselves

The very moment you do that with your posting - I will follow suit. Until then, I am just as free to post my biased positions - just like you are free to post your seemingly unbridled bias.

Being pro-life also means being grateful to people who save the lives of choking victims and district attorneys/AGs who prosecute murderers, murderous gangs, and assaulters--even when their lives are threatened.
Thank you, VP Harris and Gov. Walz, for saving lives courageously and for your plans to help the elderly and disabled remain in their homes with dignity.
They still want to kill babies. You just can’t get away from that.

Harris set up procedures allowing people to stay home and apply for asylum at the embassy. What they are doing now is working and would work better had Republicans passed the bipartisan bill.
"False", Biden/Harris reversed the Trump stay in Mexico Policy allowing millions of illegals to pour into America given shelter, monies, and (Temporary Protected Status)
Admitting the Ukraine to NATO would mean NATO nations could send troops. I think NATO and the U.S. want to hold the line. Russia has lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers (I've read) and huge resources. Hopefully that will thwart Putin's empire building. Putin is an enemy of the free world.
The globalist progressive liberals are a threat to the free world, America is a prime example with California passing laws where the government can assist in sex transition of children without parents knowledge or permission
We can be grateful NATO is strong again after being threatened in the past.

Re: Walz. Enough of the swiftboating. A few partisan hacks in the Minnesota Guard can't besmirch 24 years of service. Their claims have been disproven.
Walz was aware his guard unit was being deployed to Iraq and he quit his National Guard position to avoid combat in Iraq
Walz and China. Is that the worst scandal you can come up.with? Really? Then his thousands of devoted students and the remarkable success of his leadership on Minnesota must really have you stymied.
You mean his remarkable success of putting tampons in elementary school boy's bathrooms?

Her opponent has a history of doing 60 Minute interviews along with many other interviews. Harris is playing catch up at the last minute.

Why the histrionics? Why push the envelope so far outside of what is actually being said?

Challenge the position with facts, not absurdity and you will have people listening and possibly learning

To be fair, calling abortion, even at the early stages, "murdering children," is histrionics.
With all respect, rather than reaching out towards common ground, it polarizes and inspires comments like you've just read.

One way to reach out, for example, would be to figure out what circumstances lead women to have abortions--and do something about alleviating them.

Some are economic. Some are due to societal evils--rape, abuse, drug use. Some are due to ignorance or lack of access to birth control.

Churches can be a driving force in promoting a culture that supports human relationships based on respect, communication, community, and spirituality. Churches can also promote economic justice by supporting governmental policies reducing poverty and supporting families.

The best way to reduce abortions is by preventing unwanted pregnancies. Promoting abstinence is important, but some teens who already are sexually active need more. And before abstinence education, self-esteem building for God's children, early and often. Interventional help for dysfunctional families, twelve step ministries.

If families are sick, churches need to be the hospitals.

Pregnancy help centers--and abortion--are two very different ways to address a problem that could be preventable, with churches and government working together.

Since you provide no references, I will accept those as being your personal opinions.
Who are you responding to?

You continually wander about forums without citing posters "why"?

Several posters use that language, hammster and his legacy, but my post about how we can all work together with churches and government to address this is for everyone.

Fair to whom? The child whose life is being ended?
