Happy Sabbath

My Sabbath was awesome. A good friend of my church, Geoff Youlden came and spoke a great sermon today. For those non-Australians, Geoff Youlden is like the Australian Mark Finely or Doug Batchelor. He does all our videos and lot's of evangelism. His sermon was on people who have made a difference. Like Thomas Edison. But most influencial of all Jesus!!!
Then I went to my Pastors house, for lunch with, theguest speaker, quite a crowd, but good. Then after that, afew of us that turned up, went to a poor village and gave away Christmas presents to the children and household items for the parents. Food, etc: It was great fun, and gave them great Joy!!!!!!!! Then at home I gave a sermon on righteousness. A great Sabbath!!!

You did a sermon? Uhh any advice because I have to give a sermon in 4 weeks because I go to the church school and everything. And I am extremely nervous about it.

Maybe not the greatest wording by me in the first place. I just gave a speech to my family about righteousness.

Technically it clasifies as a sermon, because the word sermon according to my dictionary means:

1-A speech on any religious topic
2-a long repetitive speech

Our Pastor spoke about where Jesus is in our lives... Do we have any room for him? He explained about different people in the biblical story, and how they all 'rejected' Christ in a different way. It was very interesting. At the end we were encouraged to donate some money to the education of a child in India

It was a really nice day, although rather warm!!

Sabbath School Lesson and Church will be taken by them. Then a combined lunch, looking forward to meeting them.

Happy Sabbath! Sabbath is about 15 minutes from being over, sadly enough. It was interesting today. the speaker broke down the whole story of John 9, the story of when Jesus healed a blind man.
