BTW, you're superintendent already? cool! Do tell me your experience..would love to know..![]()
Oh my, there's not much to tell.
We live in a very rural area. Population of our town is 700. The Adventist Church I attend only has 20 members. Usually 15 people attend each Sabbath. So, after I was baptized last summer I was asked to be superintendent once a month.
It's pretty easy. I just try to pick a topic to discuss that relates to that weeks topic. We usually sing a hymn, and I lead a prayer. I really don't do that much. It's kind of hard to find a new topic; everyone there was raised in the Adventist Church. Right now, I'm the only transplant.
I am praying that our church will grow. In this area, most people are Lutheran or Catholic. That's what their parents and grandparents were. So it is difficult for people to change, I suppose. I just wish more people would open their eyes and see the truth, like I did; before it is too late.
Do you have alot of Adventists in Singapore? Did you grow up in the church? You probably have alot more people there to share the gospel with. That must be exciting.
