What a lovely Sabbath morning we have today. It is raining and during the night we have had nearly an inch of very precious rain.

The drought has no where near broken but it has been very helpfull.

It drizzled here all day too!! We're very thankfull for the rain, but we are praying it will go out west too, as they really need it there.

I had a nice Sabbath. Had some friends (youth leader etc) come over after lunch, and that was nice. Had a discussion on creation/current events with another friend later. It is interesting how close we are to the end, and how a lot of prophecy is coming (or is going to come) true!

I had a nice Sabbath. Had some friends (youth leader etc) come over after lunch, and that was nice. Had a discussion on creation/current events with another friend later. It is interesting how close we are to the end, and how a lot of prophecy is coming (or is going to come) true!

We ended up with 47 mm of good steady rain for the weekend. Much appreciated. Have not heard as to what happened out west or how the dams that supply Brisbane went but hope they got some and continue to get it.

Had a good Sabbath at Mt Gravatt Church. Pr Geoff Youlden spoke, Friday night and three meetings on Sabbath. Did not get to the Friday night meeting the other three i did get to.

All good meetings. He spoke about the experience of the Children of Israel as they approached the Promised Land.

Then related that to us today as we approach the Heavenly Caanan.

There would have been close to 500 people there for the main Church service.

Many stayed on for the two afternoon meetings.

Anyone that would like to get a copy of them, let me know and I am sure I would be able to get an amail address where you could contact the appropiate person involved. PM me and I will pass on the cost to you, it is very cheap.

We got 80 mm since the middle of last week!! My bro thinks it will clear up tomorrow, but I'm not so sure...

Sounds like you had a nice Sabbath, Cliff. There seems to be a lot of good meetings on lately. Someone is doing some in the afternoon at our church next Sabbath.

The Sabbath is about 20 minutes off, in eastern Aus, so have a blessed Sabbath everyone!!!!

Happy Sabbath, we have had many blessings this week. Rain being one of them.

About 80 mm for the past week.

We all thank out Lord for that and continue to pray that we will have much more.

Hope everyone had (or are having) a nice Sabbath!

Mine was nice, but quiet. There were only eight of us in youth SS lesson today! The average is about 15...but it was still interesting. We discussed the Holy Spirit's work in the latter reign.

The speaker's message in church was different... he talked to us about if Jesus came to our church, today, how would we react?

After church we had a friend who has special needs come over, so it was nice to see her enjoying herself, as she usually stays home when she isn't at school.

Anyway....

Have you ever heard the song "My Jesus" by Todd Agnew? Your post reminded me of it. It has a part where it talks about how people would react if Jesus came to their church today. It's kind of a strange song, but my husband really likes it. You can listen to it here.
