Hand Of Corruption?

From reading another thread today I was reminded of a dream I had which I'd ignored.

In the dream I saw a hand (my hand?) I can't say if it were the right or left hand. On it, on the back of it, in the soft spot between the thumb and forefinger was a large dome shaped lump. It was dark pinkish seemed to be soft, and, I though either filled with blood and puss or tumorous.

I remember poking at it and considering breaking it open. Gross, I know!

Now the question is what does the dream mean? If it is referring to my prayers regarding government, it would mean that, the corruption has come to a giant head and the hand/s involved are about to be revealed.

Or, it could mean that there is corruption in my hand/s and or activities? I remember considering if it was a warning of sickness after I awoke but, quickly dismissed and then the dream. Till in reading another post I was again reminded of the dream.

A hand shows capability. We do everything with our hands. We need them, and desperately need them to be healthy and strong.

A sore like that creates pressure under the skin. The white blood cells collect inside to fight the germs, but that increases the pressure in that area. Eventually the pressure is more than the body wants to contain, and it either pops open or we choose to release the pressure.

In your dream, you thought about doing it manually. You poked at it, maybe to test its potential to break... or because it was annoying to you. Imperfection or festering you knew should be stopped.

You know how important hands are, and how a growth like that shows trouble brewing.

CFS' dream on another thread speaks of the opposable thumb... you saw that. If there is a connection, this could relate to the conflicts seen in Congress over the last decade, and how an infection (not belonging there) is impairing the country's ability to get things done.

There have been many mandates and pressures from the executive branch since the Bush administration and before, where the checks and balance system is not respected. A new mindset was inserted, that causes the executive to carry out some very odd things. And Congress members are being told they have nothing to say about it. Some of the decisions were made on paper years ago.

The dark pink in real life would show infection, but it might be a color symbol in the dream. Transformation. I think of pink as a color that draws attention to the person, the ego, sometimes more than it should. Human in contrast to spiritual or ascetic or cerebral. Lightweight, sometimes frivolous. But it can also be a cooling, relaxing color.

In these raised infections, the host knows greater infection is risked if the pressure is released by opening the self-correcting sore. But sometimes they can't stand it any more.

You should write mystery novels. Maybe you do. I have brain freeze compared to you, when it comes to interpretations of dreams.

I'm hoping the dream means that the corruption in the hand of government is about to come to a head—be revealed—that is my constant prayer. Corruption runs through big business and government at all levels.

I remember working for a guy who, said, "everybody wants something" he went on to explain that, the only people you couldn't trust were the honest people. "If you can't buy them, you can't trust them...."

Well that just made my day. If somebody paid me to write novels, I would. Maybe all we need is your receptivity to dreams and my addiction to typing, and we'll have a bestseller.

Not trusting honest people, lol... I've seen that attitude but have not heard it said so bluntly.

Last night I watched some late-night CSPAN. It was reassuring to hear representatives point out very specific problems with the proposed health care bill. When I hear Obama and Clinton pressure Congress to rush a bill through, I feel like we have lost control of more than one decision... we lose control of the system of decision-making.

The only real hope is people in mass numbers making the same demands. People in this government take an oath to uphold the constitution. It's time we demand they abide by that oath, or, be removed for breech of contract.

Yeah, I was a kid (19) when I worked for that guy. I was a rep for his company for about a week. Couldn't do it... my job was to talk to buyers, find out what made them tick, set up a meet with my boss, and he'd "oil their clock" if they put his product in their stores.

I think the whole thing from top to bottom was a scam. I think he was trying to put together numbers to get investors and then he would walk out with the cash.

My thing was money back then but I wasn't corrupt enough to keep working with him. He was throwing the ladies at me too. He was from Russia. A very interesting and charismatic personality for a monster. Like a Tony Soprano with charisma and a deep accent.

With your talent for tying ideas together I think you'd write great mystery novels.
