Halo 2-not you're average gaming thread

I hope you people have noticed the strange things which are happening. If you watch the latest Bungie trailer, you'll notice that at the end 'Bungie' flashes for a split second to www.ilovebees.com

Now on that site, it is even stranger. The countdown timer is counting down to something in 2 weeks. The first timer ended yesterday.

If you save some of the corrupted pictures onto your HD and open them with notepad, you can find hidden messages in them. It is all a kind of a riddle.

This is smiliar to the "Cortana Letters" I think.

SAP guy, it was originally from a trailer that movie theaters, I believe like Fandango/Regal began showing at the end of some movies, or perhaps beginning, whatever. Anyway, yeah the ILOVEBEES thing is so awesome...have you people see the shirts? I love bees on the front with H2 on the back *drool*

Also, there is something even more intriguing than the ilovebees site, or perhaps coinsides with the intrigue...

I liked the first Halo, I didn't know they were going to make a second Halo.

HBO (Halo.Bungie.Org for the unintiated) is staying away from it, which, aside from their cover ('the threads aren't organised enough, you can't discuss it here') really speaks volumes about how monumental a trick Bungie has decided to pull this time.

I mean, they invented an entire site with a fake person, then proceeded to trash that site...this is awesome. It's probably gonna proceed to a few more fake sites before it's finished too, so be on the lookout. I don't think Bungie's sparing much expense with its practical jokes now that Microsoft is backing them (do you really think one small site could handle all of the traffic ilovebees.com is getting?).

Also, go to unfiction (it's .net or .org or .com or something, figure it out for yourself) for some more random speculation. They're a bunch of weirdos over there, but this is fun, so they're forgiven.

I can't wait till August 24th...

This is a fairly common thing... ARGs (Alternate Reality Games) have been around for a while. There was one for the A.I. movie, it was called The Beast I believe, might try searching for it.

Halo 2 will not only be live compatible, it will be amazing. The way that the system links can work now too, instead of 4 boxes being links to house 16 players, 16 boxes can be linked to house 16 players. With any combination of players and such, it is so awesome!

Dude, it is August 24. It was orginally due for release in late spring but Bungie delayed, or microsoft, whatever. Then it was due September 9, and now it is due, to most people who dont know about ILOVEBEES on November 9, but the new release date is August 24.

Also, my friend, whom I will call Ben, is the fartest in the world, literally for hacking the ILOVEBEES site and some others to get info, he has read the code for the sites and made his own about them. His AIM sn is SENOR ELEMENTO and he is seriously a genius and thus he hackzored some sites and scrapped some codes.

IM him, he is awesome...and ILOVEBEES is his life now, Jeez, he gave up a gf for it, not me but my pal, whom I will call Heather, and thus he is obsessed.

where the heck did u get that date from??? its comming out November 9th, according to every gaming magizine alive, every gamming store for pre-ording the game and pretty much all over shoping websites such as amazon.com!

So funny how worked up people get. If it does indeed come out on the 24th, so be it. I'm willing to bet that it doesn't and that the entire Ilovebees site is simply a way for Bungie and M$ to raise more interest in the game.

I'm not getting my hopes up. November 11th seems much more likely because it will be in time for the holiday rush. Releasing at the end of summer when everyone goes back to school would just be foolish.
