Halloween

When I was younger I went trick or treating with my friends but now with all the sick stuff that goes on I don't like it much. my church put on a fall festival instead where we have games, goodies and have a blast.

I know i am only new to here, but i thought i would comment on this anyway. Where i live Hallowe'en has always been around...its like a cultural thing. We celebrate it and get a week off school for it. We do not however worship demons or false gods or whatever. We were always taught that traditionally it was believed to be the day when souls rose from the dead, and gifts had to be left so that they would not bother u - hence trick or treating. Now we are taught that it is a time to remember the dead, and a time to remember lucifers rebellion against God. It is a time for everyone to have a bit of fun - to laugh at evil. I know some people will object to me saying all of that, but that is what we believe here. Whether u think it is a sin is ur own opinion, but i do not think people should be so quick to condemn others.
