In scripture it often speaks of a - person - going to the grave. Rather than a body. So the issue is whether or not David meant he would join his child in the graveyard or elsewhere. AFAIK he didn't say one way or the other. If not then the verse looks like a - big fail - if you think it's a "proof text" that murdered aborted babies are forced into God's kingdom without a choice & or without being born again, which is required BTW as per John 3.

In order for your "proof text" interpretation to remain a "proof" you must refute both of my reasonable universalist interpretations & prove them false. Since you've failed to do so, your "proof text" fails as a "proof text". Lazarus story is a parable.
Hell is the grave ... when we die earthly death we all go there and wait (dormant) for the 1st resurrection (of the saved) or second resurrection (of the lost) (2nd death).
Nobody is "burning in hell" right now .... and no one will burn in "hell" for eternity. Nothing about us is immortal until Jesus returns.
Many many MANY OT & NT verses support this.
In the VERY end all the unrepentant wicked, satan and his minions will be destroyed by eternal fire destroying them (turned to ashes) along with the earth.
Then God makes everything new.
Eternal life with the Lord or eternal death ... those are the choices.

Everyone is given the chance to accept or reject Jesus. That includes unborn babies. Any that dont get the chance in this life are given the opportunity in Hades/I always remember a sermon years ago that taught on this so have taken an interest in the subject since (I dont hold that all sermons are infallible as they are given by people). The book/film "Heaven is for Real" included that the boy met his miscarried sister he didnt know about in heaven. This fits with my belief that unborn babies would be given the opportunity to accept Jesus and go to heaven.What happens to murdered aborted babies?

Greek is now, and has always been, the language of the Eastern Greek Orthodox church. Who, better than the native Greek speaking scholars who translated the Eastern Orthodox Bible [EOB], know the correct meaning of Greek words, e.g. “Gehenna,””aionios” and “kolasis” etc.
Should anyone wish to refute this translation it will take more than one translation by one "scholar." Said scholar must PROVE, with credible evidence, that the EOB is incorrect.
As a follower of the Lamb it is impossible to worship a being who torments anyone!
