I already mentioned that a phone ap is possible that would access the information.
The cell network could be the first informed if those frequencies are used.
Talk about spam!!!!!!!! 25 million guns to send your phone app notifications! :ebil:

99.9% of anti-gun and gun control advocates are terribly ignorant of anything related to firearms. All they know are statistics that have been slanted to fit their agenda and the same old buzz words.

They don't know what guns cost, how they work, the differences in ammunition, the different uses, etc.

And the sad thing is that they don't want to know. They willfully choose to be ignorant because they have made up their mind and it is no longer a subject or decision based on facts or logic or reason, but purely emotional. No amount of presenting the truth will convince them otherwise. Their hearts are hardened.

It's why I rarely debate anyone on gun control; you will never change their minds.

I understand. I've been in an ongoing discussion with an Atheist on another thread about it and when I try to discuss facts, he responds with snarky comments. It doesn't seem that they want to discuss reality in a realistic way.

Would you be able to assign a unique frequency for each individual firearm? The frequency spectrum is almost completely in use already. There would be no way for 250 million firearms to each have their own frequency.

I would love to see gun control. I hate guns. A world of peace and friendship to all is what Jesus calls us towards. Many countries with strict gun control laws have far far fewer shootings than the United States does.

But... The only way people will give up their guns, is if they can trust the government.

If many people feel the government has been hijacked by a silent coup since say November 22nd, 1963 - and if 54% (one of the last polls) believe the government is hiding information about 9/11 - then there is no way Americans are going to give up their guns.

It took about 18 minutes from shooting the security guard
until the police were outside his room door and he was dead.
There's a troubling gap in the Las Vegas shooting timeline

Like the infomercials always say, "But wait! There's more!"
Still another timeline is being given for what happened. Vegas hotel: Paddock opened fire 40 seconds after guard was shot - CNN

No wonder people don't trust what the government tells them anymore. They keep changing their story. What is this, the third version of the story now?

I propose that we require all guns be manufactured with
various piezoelectric radio transmitters. This would
be a variety of "nuggets" formed into the barrel and
stock that will emit radio frequency bursts resulting
from shock, vibration, or impact.
This should be required within 5 years. The requirement
would result in development of the needed technology.

This would allow anyone to identify the location of gunfire.
Hotel owners and anti-sniper personnel.

This would affect the lone legal shooter as well as street
guns (unless imported illegally). But likely street guns
would not be illegal imports.

So only illegal imports would be unable to locate unless
the shooter wrapped the gun in a seperate blocking blanket.
Still lethal, but much more trouble.

These could emit serial numbers for each gun, but I'd
be willing to negotiate on that.

We could relax background checks on legal purchases
in exchange for tracking where shots were fired.

Edit: Used guns could be refurbished.

The problem with this is it only works in scripts for television and movie entertainment.
I saw it portrayed on an episode of "Blue Bloods" sometime back. While makes for good
drama wouldn't fly in reality.

The next step in this never-ending field of electronics is to require by law (U.S. Code)
and compel us to outfit all existing, functioning firearms, old and new, to be outfitted
with a RF chip which would be an easy step for big bro to disarm us at a considerable
distance (maybe from the other side of the world!) before coming to take us away, with
very little resistance.

It could be used as a precursor for someone like that doughboy-dictator in North Korea
prior to an invasion of America by conventional forces, rather than nuking us. I'm sure
they need our resources possessions and slave labor to take back to North Korea.

Gun control is based on the fantasy that no guns, means no crime and no crimes means
no bad people to worry about, and no bad people to worry about means a safe world to
live in.

God gave us our lives, and it is our duty to protect and defend that life,
using deadly force if need be. No one has the right to even attempt to
take our lives from us when they have no legal or moral right to do so.

My state is now a "Stand Your Ground" state.

Where I live, we have Castle Doctrine, and supposedly one of the better CCW laws.
