The fact that it can be appealed means it it is not final. You can not appeal a final juudgment. Now what can happen is that a case ccan be overturned YEARS after as was the case with Roe v Wade with another case, but a final judgement cannot be appealedWrong again......
The verdict IS final and in an appeal, they make their case to re-open the case. As for now, regardless what appeal he is applying for, he is a convicted felon facing sentencing. I wonder if it had been a black dud in the dock for murder if you would trust the judicial system? Is it his money, his connections, or his cult of personality that makes him above the law? Perhaps he should not be found guilty because you like him.
He has been found guilty so unless they re-open the case, he will remain a convicted felon. Your;re choice for President is a convicted felon. How does that make you feel? Perhaps if it were a violent felony, you would be willing to trust the justice system to make the proper decision (except for the rapes he paid hush money to cover up).
I don't know but my question is, why are all other people who have felony convictions felons but he is not? Considering now he can't rent an apartment or work for a bank among many many other places). I'm sure he doesn't need a job the way he juggles debt and bankruptcy and pays $0 in taxes on his billion+ dollar portfolio. Is he capable of doing anything wrong or are you ready to give all of your possessions to the Church of Trump and move to South America and drink the Kool-Aid that kills the whole colony?
Not the Don.....The rule of law does not apply to him and his followers. Trump is only ruled by divine law and that's the law of his own divinity. The fact that he's behaved so badly during the trial (and possibly after the trial), may affect the sentence. Donvict doesn't seem to be able to keep his mouth shut.
lol I like that oneDonvict
You didn't know? His followers "believe" in his innocence. They're not going to let anything like evidence or a guilty verdict prove his guilt. This guilty verdict on 34 felony charges is all just a figment of your imagination, because of the brainwashing you received by the Constitution. On what basis would the NY Court of appeals over turn the decision?
Many convictions are appealed. Murderers on death row go through a number of appeals, and do not stop until their last appeal is exhausted. If he is is appealing the conviction the conviction is not final which means that why would they impose a sentence on a "conviction" that he is contesting.
Choke on it? I’m hoping this is the first of four glorious courses.I hope every single left winger has to choke on what they've done.
Don’t forget can’t vote!Wrong again......

oh lol, that’s rightDon’t forget can’t vote!
There could be any number of reasons for them to overturn the decision? It could be misconduct by the DA, judge or even jury. It could be that something was allowed to be brought in that should not have been it could be any number of things. On what basis would the NY Court of appeals over turn the decision?

Yes, convictions are appealed, but many times it is also the SENTENCE that is appealed. Sometimes, people have no issue with the CONVICTION, but whether the sentenceMany convictions are appealed. Murderers on death row go through a number of appeals, and do not stop until their last appeal is exhausted.
Throughout the trial, commentators said that Judge Merchan was conducting the trial in such a way that would make successful appeals virtually impossible. He even showed unusual deference to Trump, giving him several chances to control himself without throwing him into jail for violating the gag order. He treated him with kid gloves because he knew Trump's lawyers were taking copious notes for the inevitable appeal.
It has been really hard for me to see the unbelievable corruption of Justices Alito and Thomas, who sit arrogantly in court denying any accountability, but the hard work of DA Bragg, Judge Merchan, and the NY justice system have restored my faith that in some parts of the country at least justice is working.
I am not even sure Trump COULD get a fair trial. For the record, I would say the same about Biden, Obama anyone like that, but particularly someoe as polorizing as Trump.Well sure, anything is possible, though, I don't see misconduct by any of the parties you mentioned. I thought you had a legal argument in mind.
You can always appeal a final judgment, it's not until all the upper courts have been exhausted and SCOTUS completely rejects your appeal or takes it up for a case that you've truly exhausted it.The fact that it can be appealed means it it is not final. You can not appeal a final juudgment. Now what can happen is that a case ccan be overturned YEARS after as was the case with Roe v Wade with another case, but a final judgement cannot be appealed
Happy Trump Conviction day to you too!I hope every single left winger has to choke on what they've done.
Always remember, your Marxist revolution here always always eats it's own.
