I guess we'll see. Though, he hasn't won any of his recent appeals yet.Yeah I believe so. The appeals process will hopefully bring this to an end.
It is really no different than Colorado judges taking him off the ballot.I guess we'll see. Though, he hasn't won any of his recent appeals yet.
-- A2SG, but you've always gotta hope, right?
Any reasoning based on falsehood ends in a contradiction, which in turn manifests hypocritical judgment. These charges against Trump are essentially the same charges that, during the Trump administration, the Trump DOJ had brought against Michael Cohen. And Michael Cohen, who showed remorse, was sent to prison. So, it is ok to put him in jail.
It's very different. It is really no different than Colorado judges taking him off the ballot.
No, it is not. It is really about the NEW YORK judicial system to try a presidential candidate for the entire country. It was three justices then, now it is twelve jurors following instructions of one judge.Any reasoning based on falsehood ends in a contradiction, which in turn manifests hypocritical judgment. These charges against Trump are essentially the same charges that, during the Trump administration, the Trump DOJ had brought against Michael Cohen.
AmenThe verdict is in. We now witnessing history. The first man to be elected President a felon
Please........
Make your excuses. Spout your conspiracy theories. Tell us how this makes him an even better candidate. Also comment on what sentencing will look like. Between his outbursts, his contempt of court flirtations, his addressing the jury when that's a no-no. What I want to hear about most is how corrupt the judge was when he was found guilty by a jury of his peers......
After you justify all of his felonies and inform us of the corruption of his judge and the court system in general. Let us know about the same courts' fairness as it relates to race because every known statistic shows the disparity. When you do that, please explain why this is a corrupt court and the courts that have created a disparity between blacks and whites when it comes to pulling citizens over, convicting at a higher rate, charging higher bail, and not approving bail as often as whites, and longer sentences for black who are in the same legal situation as whites and are convicted of the same or similar crimes.
Can't wait to hear from you.
These are not the same situations. The same problem is happening again, that happened in Colorado to take him off the ballot.
Read the charges, read the evidence and read the transcript. 12 lay people saw it and slammed him. They had no jurisdiction to try election law. Did he commit a crime for a non disclosure agreement? This is done and has been done by many politicians, business people. This politicizing is ruining this country...
See for yourself:No, it is not. It is really about the NEW YORK judicial system to try a presidential candidate for the entire country. It was three justices then, now it is twelve jurors following instructions of one judge.
That is why I used the term. It seems they believe that he will save them from the taking over of the US by immigrants and transsexuals. Are you kidding? Trump's got some people into such a cult-like state of mind that I don't see how the convictions won't further spur them into drawing parallels between Trump and the actual Man whom I and many other folk here believe to be the Messiah.
We've heard insane comparisons made between the two before because of "unfair" or "abusive" treatment they believe Trump has gotten, after all, haven't we?
The worst people I've ever met in my life have been, to a person, conservative Christians. Christians are calling the Sermon on the Mount "weak". Christians are calling Donald Trump a "messiah".If they are in any way threatening or so much as insinuating violence on behalf of Trump (or ANY politically-related cause, really), then in my worldview, they aren't behaving like a good Christian and/or conservative at all.
It's not the same thing. The ruling by the Supreme Court in Trump v. Anderson was that a state does not have the authority to bar someone from federal office - only state office - because that would otherwise allow the existence of a patchwork of eligibility where a candidate for federal office is on the ballot in some states, but not others. States are still allowed to have their own election laws though, and those laws still apply to candidates for both state and federal office. For example, if a state requires candidates to file before a deadline and/or obtain a certain number of signatures in order to get on the ballot, that applies to both state and federal candidates. I can't just roll up on October 31st and demand to be placed on the ballot as a presidential candidate under the premise that state election laws don't apply to me.The same problem is happening again, that happened in Colorado to take him off the ballot. They had no jurisdiction to try election law.
No, the crimes that he was convicted of had nothing to do with non-disclosure agreements. If that's what you've gotten out of this process, then you really need to go back and read the official documentation rather than the pundits and internet commentators.Did he commit a crime for a non disclosure agreement? This is done and has been done by many politicians, business people. This politicizing is ruining this country...
Yes, it is.No, it is not. It is really about the NEW YORK judicial system to try a presidential candidate for the entire country. It was three justices then, now it is twelve jurors following instructions of one judge.
It is the judges instructions to the Jury, and the violation of his rights that will be tried. That court has no jurisdiction to adjudicate election law. Like Colorado had NO JURISDICTION. But THREE Judges decided to say, so what???? I will do it anyway. Same here with Bragg and merchan.....Same thingThese are not the same situations.
Read the charges, read the evidence and read the transcript. 12 lay people saw it and slammed him.
Why is it SO HARD to believe that Trump MIGHT just be guilty and should, maaaaaaaybe be punished for what he did?
I think we should be careful not to use too wide a brush by using terms like "conservative" Christians. The Holy Spirit would never lead us into slandering anyone. The worst people I've ever met in my life have been, to a person, conservative Christians. Christians are calling the Sermon on the Mount "weak". Christians are calling Donald Trump a "messiah".
Who in the Christian community is speaking out on this?
Was this brought up at pretrial at all or were Trump's 50million dollar lawyers that inept? It is the judges instructions to the Jury, and the violation of his rights that will be tried. That court has no jurisdiction to adjudicate election law.
... What are you even talking about? Election law? This was about falsifying business records. It is the judges instructions to the Jury, and the violation of his rights that will be tried. That court has no jurisdiction to adjudicate election law. Like Colorado had NO JURISDICTION. But THREE Judges decided to say, so what???? I will do it anyway. Same here with Bragg and merchan.....Same thing
And all the back and forth is the same thing...
I am sure it will become an issue as it works it's way through the Appeals process. Even if it takes getting to the supreme court, to get justice regarding law. Look how long it took to overturn Three judges in Colorado enabling other states to do the same? Three lousy judges deciding who all the country could vote for.Was this brought up at pretrial at all or were Trump's 50million dollar lawyers that inept?
Sigh......That MISDEMEANOR was expired....they resurrected it to turn it into a FELONY violation of election law. A common non disclosure agreement, was made an election violation......... What are you even talking about? Election law? This was about falsifying business records.
